Lebanon,
in 452 pieces.
The whole country, twenty-six magnetic pieces, one for each Qada2. Limited to 452 numbered editions, released 8 at a time on the 26th of every month.

Render of the finished piece.
Every ridge on it is real.
The terrain is sampled from 30-metre satellite topography data, and raised about six times.
One piece per Qada2.
One click each.
The map comes apart along the lines of the 26 Qada2. Magnets hidden inside, at the bottom of every piece, attached onto a steel back plate. Lift Bcharre out, turn it in your hand, and it clicks back in only one way.

The printed relief, close. Photograph, colour-graded only.
From elevation data
to your wall.
Nothing is made before it is ordered. Each map is printed, cleaned up, fitted with magnets and framed in Beirut, then given its number.
01
Printed
All 26 pieces are printed in matte PLA on fine, adaptive layers: forty-two hours for one map.
02
Finished
Every piece is cleaned off the plate, checked against its neighbours and fitted with its magnets.
03
Framed
Magnets set, pieces seated on steel, walnut around it. The edition number is engraved on the back.

Workshop footage and photographs from Beirut, graded for light only. Framed is a render until the first editions are photographed.

Your Qada2,
in metal.
Choose your Qada2 when you order and, if you like, give it its own finish: metallic iron gray, iridium gold or copper brown, or translucent blue. We engrave it on the back plate with your edition number, and a name or a date if you want one. Your edition number is yours alone.

The land,
in your colours.
Stone-white, or one of five other matte colours. Give your own Qada2 a finish of its own, in metallic iron gray, iridium gold or copper brown, or translucent blue, and it becomes the one piece that catches the light. Every combination renders live before you order.

Asked often
How limited is it?
No two share a number. The editions run from 001 to 452, and each number is engraved once and never reissued. Eight editions are released at 20:00 Beirut time on the 26th of every month, until all 452 are taken.
Will the pieces fall out?
No. Each piece is held by neodymium magnets onto a steel plate and sits in the frame's recess. You can lift one out on purpose; gravity and a knock on the wall won't.
How long does it take?
Three to six weeks from order to dispatch. Each map is printed, finished and framed after you order it.
Where do you ship?
Anywhere in Lebanon, and delivery is included in the price. Shipping abroad opens later. Join the list below to hear first.
What should I engrave?
Your Qada2 is engraved by default. Add a family name, a village or a year, up to 30 characters, in Arabic or Latin letters.
How do I care for it?
Keep it out of direct sun and dust it with a soft, dry brush. No water, no cleaners.
